I am so excited……. Zach Bates is back in the saddle again! When his first courtship ended, it really bothered me because the beginning was so public, being broadcast on the Duggar’s show, 19 Kids and Counting. They had absolutely nothing to be embarassed about when it didn’t work out, but I worried that because it was on reality television, that people would make a big thing out of it. No young couple, especially an upstanding couple like Zach Bates and Sarah Reith should have to endure judgement like that. Happily, however, it looks as if God has helped them to move on.
Zach met Whitney Perkins while she was working at a Sonic restuarant in Tennessee, the couple’s home state. Apparently, it was love at first sight, but I think they are being smart about it, as they first met back in 2012. On the Bates’ blog, Kelly said that they had become each other’s best friends, helped each other get through some hard times and good times, and they have helped one another get closer to God…….doesn’t get any better than that! I hope that people will respect their privacy, let them continue to get to know one another, and not pass judgement on their relationship. I know that I am praying for them, and that they follow God’s Will in all things.
On the other hand, Sarah Reith has blossomed into a beautiful young lady, and if she is courting again……she is keeping it under wraps. She is in the spotlight, however……for the AMAZING music that she makes with her siblings. They are ultra-talented and blessed by God. Their band is called ‘Southern Raised’ and is touted as ‘Bluegrass for the Soul’. The bio on her band’s website says that she is quiet, sensitive, loves to cook and quilt, and that she wishes for a baby blue vintage truck…..and I sure hope she gets one. The other band members are sisters Emily Grace and Lindsey, and a brother, Matthew. I pray that God continues to bless them in all of their endevours.
I also pray that all three of these youngin’s will live happy and God-fearing lives! God Bless!
